THE BRIEF
Our client required a fully accessible, level-entry bathroom to better support their mobility and daily care needs. The project was funded through the NDIS, with approvals managed through both NDIA and Support Coordination.
OUR APPROACH
We worked alongside the client, their support coordinator, and occupational therapist to ensure all functional requirements were met without compromising on aesthetics. From early planning to final handover, our team managed every detail to deliver a tailored, high-quality result.
During the project, J&D Contracting:
- Provided multiple quote options to support NDIA/S funding approvals
- Conducted pre-construction meetings to ensure the client had full choice and control over all finishes
- Worked closely with the prescribing OT to ensure all selections aligned with functional needs
- Developed architectural drawings with a detailed finishes schedule and facilitated all structural engineering for compliant sub-floor modifications
- Coordinated construction with our team of disability worker-screened trade professionals
