NDIS Home Modifications

We recently had the J&D team come and install a new shower screen in North Brisbane. The two team members that came were prompt, polite and did a fantastic job installing the new shower. Would highly recommend their services!

They did renovations for us for our daughters bathroom and they are awesome at what they do we highly recommend this company.They let you know every step of the way whats going on and keep you informed.Some of the funds for this were from NDIS and the rest was out of pocket for what NDIS didn't fund. Just wanted to write a letter of strong commendation for J&D Contracting. My Daughter needed an NDIS approved bathroom as she is wheelchair bound and needs a variety of specialist equipment (such as hoists etc) and personal carers for her daily needs.
From the outset, J&D Contracting's Project Manager Ryan made us feel comfortable with his level of expertise and caring empathy towards my daughters needs. He guided us through the quotation and contract paperwork, explaining everything to our satisfaction and was very obliging with regard questions and variation requests.
To complicate matters, the work took place in a Heritage listed building which required significant cooperation from all parties including Heritage Consultants, Body Corporate, Project Advisors and NDIS representatives. Ryan handled this professionally, admirably with calm and empathy.
Then came the work which was to be undertaken in accordance with strict Body Corporate requirements which resulted in the need to manual remove all rubbish ensuring common areas were left spotless and with no adverse impact on other residents.
The trades people were meticulous and empathetic in their approach, ensuring drop sheets were used to protect any traffic areas and minimising any disruption to our daily life (even to the point of ensuring my daughters comfort in the spare bathroom by relocating a bidet).
All of the tradies, Ben the main technician, Chris the Painter, Luke the Plumber and Kay the tiler (and his team) were all sensational to deal with and went out of their way to ensure minimal disruption and produced excellent workmanship. We could not fault the entire team who were a pleasure to deal with. My daughter and I could not recommend J&D Contracting more highly to anyone needing their services.

The whole process was brilliantly managed and executed. Ryan kept us in the loop and responded quickly to any enquiries. The remodeled parts of our house have made a real difference to David's quality of life and ability to move safely around our home. All the tradies were great to deal with and cleaned up after their work was completed. Cannot recommend this company enough.
